ARDS Testing at MotorSport Vision circuits

Thinking of going racing? We can help you take the first step to becoming a racing driver with an official ARDS National B racing licence test.
A National B race licence is the recognised qualification for most entry level race series and is provided by the Motorsport Association (MSA) who regulates motorsport in the UK. By obtaining one you will have achieved a minimum standard for both the academic and practical knowledge of motor racing which is essential for anyone before starting their race career.

The test comprises the following elements:
- Welcome introduction
- Video
- Briefing - what to expect at your first race, safety issues and the ARDS test details
- Written test
- 30 minute circuit driving evaluation
- De-brief

The test is a great introduction to motorsport and will equip you will some new skills. However, you will need some track driving experience prior to taking the practical section of the test (preferably at the circuit where you are taking the test) as there is no driving tuition given during the test itself.
If you are unsure as to whether you have enough track driving experience please call us on 0870 850 5014 so that we can discuss your requirements with you. It may be the case that we need to organise some 1-2-1 tuition for you in your own, or one of our test vehicles prior to booking your test.
You will also need a MSA ‘Go Racing Pack’ (available from www.msauk.org and priced at £53) which contains your application form and everything you need to prepare for the ARDS test.
If you have any further questions please call 0870 850 5014 or email us at: ards@motorsportvision.co.uk
