Junior rallycross ace steps up to top flight with Gollop
30/11/2005 - Teenager Andrew Jordan will become the youngest driver to pilot a Supercar in the British Rallycross Championship next year, when he will race a Ford Focus run by rallycross legend Will Gollop.
At 16, Jordan will also be the first driver to jump straight from the Junior Rallycross Championship to Supercars, the top category of the sport. "It's my ultimate drive," said the youngster. "It doesn't get any better than that."
Jordan's father Mike runs Team Eurotech, with which Jordan Sr will step up to the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship next season, driving Matt Neal's 2005 BTCC title-winning Honda Integra R.
